Self-catering Apartment – The East Wing Annexe
The large gravelled parking area is approached via a set of double gates.
The East Wing is accessed through a wide side gate, and pathway of level paving slabs.
The accommodation has its own dedicated entrance to the left hand side of the main property and is situated all on the ground floor, a single step over the threshold being the only obstacle.
There is a large utility room and a spacious cloakroom fitted with wheelchair assist rails and raised toilet seat.
The wood floored corridor provides access to the double room with en-suite, then the galley kitchen and finally the carpeted lounge/ dining room, which is generous in size providing for ease of movement!
All doors are at least standard width. The overall floor area exceeds 800 Sq Ft. Bedroom + bathroom 19’6″ x 10′, lounge/dining room 23′ x 13′
The apartment is situated all on one level on the ground floor, having a dedicated front door leading in from the garden on the east side of the main property.
There are no less than 7 sets of double glazed windows with full throw opening within the apartment and there is a solid timber door linking it to the main house, for which a key is provided, and the lounge has a full sized “tilt and slide” patio door leading to the owners patio.
There are 2 battery operated smoke alarms and the kitchen is equipped with a dry powder extinguisher and fire blanket.
All cooking equipment is electrically powered and the TV., lighting and all pieces of electrical apparatus is new or nearly new.
There is no open fire, thermostatically controlled radiators are provided throughout supplied by an air-sourced heat pump situated outside the main house, serviced annually.
